HOLLYWOOD CASINO’S 2002 STAR PERFORMERS OF THE YEAR
(March 10, 2003, Tunica, MS)---Hollywood Casino’s Star Performers of the Year for 2002 are Ross Jones, Tim Messer and Robert Herrod.
As Star Performers of the Year, Jones, Messer and Herrod received a Hollywood Casino Oscar, a $1,000 bonus, dinner for two at the award-winning Fairbanks Steakhouse, a monogrammed Hollywood jacket and their photos displayed on the Hollywood Casino “Wall of Fame”.
Each Quarter, Hollywood Casino recognizes 12 Cast Members (employees) for Star Performer of the Quarter. At the end of the year, two of these 48 Quarterly Star performers are named Star Performer of the Year. For the first time in Hollywood history, there was an unbreakable tie and three Hollywood Cast Members were selected for 2002.
Jones, of the Property Operations Department, has been a Hollywood Cast Member since 1994. He earned his stars as an outstanding team member in the position of Maintenance Engineer.
Messer, Limousine Driver, was recognized for giving exemplary guest service. He has been employed by Hollywood since 1996.
Herrod, a Security Officer, was recognized for the quality of guest service his gives. Herrod has been a member of the Hollywood Security Department since 1997.
